Vintage Heart…A love story…sort of
Jim and Terri, drawn together in 1987 by their mutual love of things past, begin a new journey as purveyors of classic, vintage and antique wares. This new journey is called Vintage Heart. As long time caretakers of days gone by, as witnessed by friends and family remarking, “Where in the world did you find that?!” we have decided to share our “hobby” with you, fellow collectors, pickers and curators of history. Terri has been known to say “What are you going to do with that?” as Jim was a “picker” long before the cable TV show existed and the word was coined. Vintage Heart is also the home of the Heritage Rescue Team. Before you send it to the trash give our Team a call. We rescue, repurpose and conserve all manner of items.
We believe one should be able to live with what they collect and therefore we are advocates of usable classic, vintage and antique wares. Usable wares make the perfect gift for your special occasion – weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, housewarmings and more.
If we can help you find something to satisfy your heart’s desire, add to or complete a collection, or perhaps find a unique gift please use the button labeled “Heart’s Desire” on this website and leave us your request.
If you are looking for ideas on how to “live” with your collection(s) please use the button labeled “Show Us Your Heart” on this website and if you had a great idea and would like to share, please post!
We are adding treasures monthly so visit often. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram, and look for previews of our finds and watch the progress of our historic Clear Spring store front restoration activities.
“Every new search is a voyage to the Indies, a quest for buried treasure, a journey to the end of the rainbow; and whether or not at the end there shall be turned up a pot of gold or merely a delightful volume, there are always wonders along the way.” Vincent Starrett, Penny Wise & Book Foolish
